The Vermont Shamrocks were the only hockey club in the USA to enter teams in all levels of the Quebec Womens Prospects AAA Spring Tournament.    Click on image above for results. All 'Rocks teams competed and earned wins against the world's best players. 17s compete vs Fishers with 7 Canadian National Team players and Stillman's late goal helps the U14s tie the undefeated Durnham (Ont.) Leafs 1-1

2012 Tournament/Split Season Recap

U19 802 Shamrocks  compete in Tier 1 New England Regional Championship. Tie Rice 1-1

2012-13 the Vermont Shamrocks will again field a national tournament bound Tier II U16 "split season" team for high school varsity players and a national bound Tier I U19 team (via challenge) in our split season program. 

Split season teams follow a Sunday schedule in the fall, shut down for the HS season, and reassemble for the NE Regional and USA National tournaments in the spring.

The 'Rocks will also field U12 and U14 "tournament teams" to compete in three "showcase" tournaments. 

One in the early fall (in or near Vermont) one over over Thanksgiving (Rhode Island/Mass.) and one over Christmas (CT Polar Bear). 

Our U12 and U14 teams are NOT full season nor are they USAH "National Bound" and thus they are open to any girl who plays local association boys or girls hockey.

The Vermont Shamrocks bring together some of the most competitive girls hockey players from all across New England and New York state.  The goal is to provide a high level of hockey while promoting participation at the local and scholastic high school level.  The emphasis is on skill development and teamwork by fostering a spirit of cooperation and unity, as well as individual self-growth.   

We create a fun environment which focuses on important values such as sportsmanship, friendship, and love of the game.  The lesson at the end of the day is that succeeding is really more about how they play the game – win or lose.

Our season fees only include the costs of our tournament entry fees and ice time.  Our prices are as low as select hockey can get ... but the value of the program to our players has proven to be significant.
